This is super cliche but as a little girl, I’ve always dreamed about doing something in fashion. I knew I had it in me. But unfortunately, growing up I had the cards stacked against my favor. My parents divorced, we went broke, I couldn’t go to my dream fashion school. Instead I got stuck in Indonesia, with broken dreams and no hope to really make it.

About Me

I never went to a fancy fashion school…

Simply because my parents could not afford it.

I ended up taking a fashion business diploma but soon I discovered that this only taught my how to be an employee and not run my own fashion business. In my first (and only) 9-5 job I was working as a visual merchandiser but it was only to fuel my passion for becoming a brand owner.

Now I'm a serial fashion entrepreneur who built a 7-figure fashion empire, including a sustainable fashion brand (THIS IS A LOVE SONG), an ethical garment consulting & manufacturing company (TIALS Studio), and the top online fashion business academy (SYFB)

The fashion brand I built was named the brand to watch by Harper’s Bazaar and the work that I have done for it landed me an interview feature in Forbes which isn’t easy to do!

Passionate about ethical and sustainable fashion, I've worked globally, helping clients and students create 6 to 7-figure fashion businesses supporting them in all stages of their brand With over 15 years of hands-on experience, I've distilled real-life strategies into proven support for your journey. No boring textbook stuff, just insights from my life as a brand owner and businesswoman.

As a mentor, I’ve had mentors too and one particular mentor has shaped me who I am today. Back in 2018 my brand got chosen out of the 6000 brands that applied to be mentored by none other than Virgil Abloh. This once in a lifetime experience helped my brand grow and it gave me the priceless opportunity to have learned from Virgil Abloh in close proximity. He has taught me tremendously and has influenced how I operate as a brand owner and fashion business mentor. Now I get to share my 15 years of experience & all my learnings with you inside the SYFB Academy ecosystem.
